I love this – My son installed this for me in just a few minutes. I had no problem setting up. Had an issue signing in to my ring account due to a previous device but customer service helped me out in no time. The light is very bright. The camera has excellent picture quality and very good night vision. We went with this older model because we weren’t happy reading the reviews in the plus model. Glad we chose this one.

Excellent Purchase – I usually have complaints about technology bc I’m inept but I’m in love with this camera. We put this on the side of the house where we have our garage but no window. Anytime someone would show up we had no idea they were there. They’d have to text or the dogs would let us know; but they bark at anything so is it a squirrel or a friend? We never knew. Now we are alerted on our phone when someone drives up. And if we forgot to turn on the side light the camera light will go on so you can actually see. The audio option is also impressive. The other day I got home and was getting out of the car when I heard my husband like he was right behind me; the sound was incredibly clear. He was talking to me through the camera. From South Carolina. We live in New York.

Easy install if you already have an outlet near by. – The camera is great, all of the ring products are. However, I was replacing a traditionally wired flood light and did not have an outlet to plug this one into. If that is the case for you, I recommend buying the hardwiring kit for this camera.
