Good resolution camera – Use: monitors back patio, which cannot be seen from the front of the house. So sensitive to motion that it activates when leaves on the trees next to the patio are blown by the wind, which I really like.

Happy with the purchase ! – Great cam and spotlight working perfectly with the solar panel. The cam comes with ONE battery, but it has a slot for a second battery as well. Since my cam is in a birds-eye location requiring a ladder to get to I purchased a second battery as a backup to ensure continous power if the solar or the first battery power should faulter.

Ability to customize coverage area – We have a sidewalk leading to our front door with a large shrub on one side. Was getting a lot of false alerts on windy days until I found you can simply drag the corners and sides of the coverage area outline and exclude the offending shrubs and bushes. A great feature.

Just what I wanted – I mounted the camera and solar panel togetheron a Ring bracket made just for that. I then mounted the entire assembly to face my front porch/driveway/yard. Crystal clear image works like a charm. The lights are very bright but aren’t designed to go long. They basically light the area for about 30 ft. Easy install works great. Getting another for the back yard.
