Ring floodlight motion /video – Amazing! The two flood lights are super bright! It advertises for 30 feet, but this thing must pick up 50 feet or more. My carport is further than 40 feet away and it’s picking me up every time. Easy to install and to configure.

A little too sensitive but ok – I do think that the ring cameras compared to other brands on the market are good however what I do not like is that you are forced to pay for their cloud base subscription to keep your ring activated therefore, if you do not pay the $79 to keep your recordings, the camera is basically useless. Although it seems that all the security camera companies offer you the camera, but the real money is the monthly subscription to keep you on the hook so if you want to keep your videos and keep on watching your house from your app or your phone which is a cool feature you have to keep paying for their service, which I will be disconnecting very soon

Good replacement for my first Ring floodlight – I bought this Ring floodlight after my 4 year old original Ring flood started to fail with video having a red tint to it. Set up was a breeze as are all Ring products. The one snag with it being refurbished was that it was not reset completely. No problem, I just called Ring customer service and they reset the ring cam. Customer service was surprisingly helpful and made the issue fairly easy to deal with. That was the only reason this review is 4 stars. Otherwise, the Ring Floodlight is awesome.

No lo recomiendo – Todo estaba bien hasta que los os focos se llenaron desde agua con la lluvia y estaba haciendo corto circuito, comenzando a fallar la cámara, por lo que se tuvo que desconectar de la corriente eléctrica. Ahora no tengo garantía del producto y son 200 dólares tirados a la basura.

Separate setting to make lights turn off. – For ring doorbell you can turn on disarm to stop getting alerts. The same is true for the light camera, but the lights will still turn on until you go specifically to the light, open settings, open device settings then turn off the light. Would be great if they were disabled in disarm option. One button everything off. It’s the same to turn them on again.

I was hesitant to buy a refurbished one, but it’s working great – I was a little hesitant to buy a refurbished unit, but it’s working well. We’re going to add a wifi booster so it is consistent, but we think that’s our wifi issue, not the unit’s issue. It integrated well into our Ring system. Good resolution on the images it sends. We like that you can define an area that isn’t going to activate the alert, because we didn’t want it to pick up on every car that went by.
