      It needs to extend to a taller height but is sturdy. – It doesn’t extend tall enough for my needs but is a sturdy tripod and is easy to set up.

      Pretty Decent – It’s been holding up for me pretty well. I think it’s apretty well stand for your money! I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I haven’t had any problems

      Lightweight yet functional – It is lightweight but easy to carry around. If you are looking for something that will see rough handling be aware the tripod base is not designed for heavy duty use. Only problem I see is that it is not heavy at the base and could easily be toppled over. I use it to hold a Mevo camera to record lectures and it does fine for that. It was cost effective and met my needs.

      pivot at the mounting plate is sub par – still a great product at the price point. sturdy material, easy to put up or away. good height range for different uses. a key drawback this has is that the mounting plate isn’t fully free rotation enabled. i expected something like this to have a ball joint so you can pivot the camera however you want. instead this comes with a tilt hinge and it clicks into incremental positions. also when locked, the mounting plate still isn’t rigid so if you have a full camera, it may droop downwards. perhaps the perfect use is for phones. anything more serious may not be ideal. i still like it. money well spent if your expectations are realistic.
