Great and worth buy – Currently used for two months, the camera set up is very easy, but only support 2.4 wifi. For the best angle and view, it is better to install on the ceiling, not suitable for use on the wall. the angle is not bad and the video is very clear. unfortunately it does not record sound. I only charged it once during the last two months, so the battery is very durable. It’s expensive, but it worth the money. recommend

Stealth Camera – I got this one because I wanted to get a camera that wasnt super obvious that it was one. My only choices besides this one were cheaper ones that were disguised as USB charging bricks but those are reliant on a wall plug and the angle of the view that it will give you. I wanted something that could cover my kitchen area since my front door is also nearby there and what better disguise as a smoke detector that should probably be in the kitchen anyway since it makes sense there. Just know that this isnt an real smoke detector so that its not going to work when you need one and you probably shouldnt place this near a real smoke detector since it doesnt make sense to have two side by side haha.

Clear picture, works well, does require some installation. – First thing I will say about this is that this is NO SMOKE ALARM DETECTION. It is not meant to be a smoke alarm replacement and should not take the place of your smoke alarm. That being said, you do need to do some installation for this. It is not something that I would recommend taping to the ceiling. I would recommend using screws. It is easy to remove the detector from the bracket for charging and such but I do not recommend taping it as overtime the adhesive can come undone and it falls down and possibly hits you in the head. The camera has a 140 degree viewing but it is essentially only one direction so point it in the direction you want it to be recording. It does not have 360 degree vision. The camera is not very noticeable but make sure your other smoke detectors look kind of like this so it does not draw suspicion. The casing is prone to the same yellowing effect as many other white color smoke alarms. The setup is not too difficult. You just download the application and follow the instructions to connect it to your wifi signal. The wireless signal is only for 2.4 Ghz only so be aware of that. You can install your own micro SD card which is recommend to store video or picture footage on. It is the best way in case your wireless signal goes down. The motion detection can be adjusted so it is not super sensitive. You can also have it turn off whenever you do not want it to detect. The application sends you notification and automatically record whenever it detects motion. The picture quality is not bad but I would not say it is the best. It does the job and you get a pretty decent clear picture. It has a built in rechargeable battery that you can plug into whenever. The battery has yet to be dead and I have yet to recharge it. It is suppose to last for quite some time. There is a battery indicator on the application so you will know when you need to recharge it. The motion detection is a bit noticeable if you really look at it. Honestly a foggy piece on a smoke detector can be a bit of a giveaway. It does have night vision as well which is a nice touch. The video is truly clear and the movement discovery turns on the camera very quickly so there is little deferral. The more light the better, however the video is still great in lower light. The movement indicator can trip the camera on the off chance that the light isn’t high, however as the light reduces so does the movement discovery work. The movement recognition really worked in lower light I didn’t think it would.The just thing is it doesn’t uphold 5G wireless association just 2.4G. Additionally, the Yi eye application works amazing no problems or bugs by any means up until this point
