The Perfect Cameras For Your Security System – Sovmiku 8X Optical Zoom Auto Tracking camera is an excellent security system, I installed 5 cameras in my house and I was very impressed with the quality and resolution of the videos. The tracking and the zooming feature are excellent because they clearly capture the face, license plates and details of what people or car that comes around and what they have in their hands when they’re in range of the camara. Attached is a picture that shows the resolution of the porch of my house.

A camera that is far superior to its like priced counterparts, and awesome customer service. – The icsee app is actually a really good app. Make sure to use one of their tf cards and make sure it’s not more than the camera can take. That being said this camera had stunning picture for the price. My camera was damaged in transit and not only did they get me a shipping label so I could return the camera hassle free, but they sent me out a new camera even before I had made it to the post office with theirs. What this company might not have in expensive bell’s and whistles they far more make up for in kindness and customer satisfaction. I will definitely do business with this company again and will be recommending to everyone I come across.

Not as advertised – I sent this one back hoping the replacement would actually have specs that match the listing description. The description clearly says 4MP but the box says 2MP. The description also says 8X OPTICAL zoom, there’s something fishy about that. It does zoom to 8X, but at around 4X the image size (not just the zoom factor) and color balance all of a sudden change suggesting there may be optical zoom up to 3X or so and then it jumps to digital — an an overall picture pops in (picture in picture) showing where the zoomed area is. Don’t know how they’d do that with a single magnified optical image. …and the image is not as sharp as it should be if it’s true optical zoom all the way to 8X. The seller didn’t answer the phone when I called during listed business hours. The manual (with the same phone number) doesn’t list any technical specs for resolution or zoom. Sent back with hopes the replacement will actually be what they describe. May just be too low a price to actually get the features described.
