10/8/2022 update to: Great product – But…… – 10/9/22 update. The answer to my question to Jasmine below is that the camera saves images to the SD card but does not transmit them to the app on a smartphone. There is definitely an advantage to the cloud option that can be accessed via remote where the SD Card cannot.
