It did the job but didn’t last very long – It was a decent camera. I am in a mountain area where internet is DSL and is slow so I wanted a camera that would do the job but wouldn’t bog down because of high resolution images. it worked for about 8 months and died. I don’t know what went wrong but it won’t power on. Also the app does not work well with the iPhone. You can’t correct the image view so its 90 degrees off.

Great Customer Service – I will be honest, the camera lasted a year then stopped working. Contacted their customer service about their 24 month warranty about getting it replaced. They were very prompt and responsive over email and sent out a new one right away. Overall, the camera is a great security camera and works just as it’s intended to do. Will be probably buy a few more to add to my home later on.

it’s okay. – we bought the camera for safety purposes since we’ve had issuers with someone trespassing and damaging our property. being able to detect motion from a far distance was important to us, unfortunately this doesn’t. it works if someone is coming up to or front door, but doesn’t detect motion from someone stepping onto our driveway.

Provided screws are junk! Camera could be better with motion/human detection! – I bought 2 of these solar cameras to add to my existing Ctronics wireless cameras. I installed them in June 2022. When they actually start recording after picking up motion or human shapes, you have missed some of the action. It really takes too long for them to “Wake-up” and record. I had an issue with one of them where it was off-line and not accessible. I tried resetting my wireless router… no change. I got out the ladder and pulled the unit down off the post it is mounted on, turned off, then back on and everything came back to life. The time that the camera seems to have stopped is when I installed a wireless weather station on top of the post the camera was on. I figured that maybe the 2 devices were interfering with each other and wanted to move the camera further away from the station. The 4 screws just turned but would not back out. This has only been out in the weather for a little over 5 months. Much to my dismay I discovered all 4 screws had rusted off in the pressure treated wood post! The thumb screws had also started to rust and were difficult to remove. You’d think that an outdoor security camera that is going to be out in the elements would have stainless steel screws. I applied grease to the thumbscrews to try to protect them and used galvanized sheet rock screws to remount the camera plate further away from the weather station. Got my fingers crossed that the camera doesn’t loose connectivity to my WiFi system. At least I am fairly confident that I won’t find the camera laying on the ground now because the screws rusted off!
