Great camera if it alerted correctly – Has a great picture day and night. Unfortunately it would alert me for cars way down the street but not my dog in my yard or a car comong and going from my driveway. I tried various settings and spoke with Customer service, reinstalled the app and camera then it stopped sending alerts completely. The microphone was good and I could speak to my dog while she was outside. I returned it but would have kept if the alerts worked. I would have given it all 5 stars if it worked correctly.

Intrusive and annoying software – The product itself (i.e. camer) performs well yielding excellent pictures even in the dark. The software however is hell-bent on dogging you to purchase video storage. If you purchase the video storage and pay the monthly fees, you’ll probably really enjoy this camer. Since I had no need for video storage, I did not buy it and had to disable/ignore notifications. The net is that I like the camera but would pay more for a similar product with better software. I suspect that would be from Ring or anohter major vendor.

Awesome Night Vision! – The setup for this camera was much easier than expected. The app and camera walk you through the process, so stressing over the paper instruction manual is pointless. I ended up plugging this camera into an outlet. Yes, you can screw it in like a lightbulb or use the plug attachment that comes with it! I just used the camera to peek in at my sleeping baby. At first, I thought there must be a lag and it was showing me footage from earlier today. When I looked closer, however, I found out the night vision is just so good that it makes it look like it’s daylight! My baby has no night lights whatsoever in her room and it is pitch black outside right now. I am very impressed with the night vision. Much better than the WebCam I was using before. The picture is much clearer too. I threw the old one in a closet!

It also comes with an attachment so you can plug it in anywhere there is an outlet. Night vision works great, light works great (added bonus it can be a remote control light). Also comes with a micro SD card to if something does happen you have a copy. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a good security camera or dog camera which is what I use it for. I can now see pretty.much anywhere he’d be from one central camera! Great value!
