Now it’s working as it did during the trial after a month of failing to record motion events. – Worked perfect through the trial. It failed to save motion events to the cloud after purchasing the additional service plan, $100 for nothing. Customer Service at Blink was a waste of time and hard to get ahold a person, once I did they had me go through all the same steps I already did per the website help then blamed my ISP.

Decent for cheap – Kinda tricky to get the camera set exactly how you want it. Also doesn’t do the best job of keeping the rain off of the camera. But overall I’m not disappointed in my purchase

I’m impressed! – So far I really like these cameras and recommend them. I have since also bought 2 Blink minis for inside. They all were easy to set up, both physically and electronically. I never have trouble connecting to them with my phone. A couple of complaints: there seems to be quite a delay before recording starts, regardless of sensitivity setting and so far there is no way to schedule on/off activity i.e. on at night & off during the day. Battery longevity has yet to be seen and will be an important issue, but the estimated 2 years would be great.

Changing my Review…back to a 5, down to a 3 – Update Number 2: Spectrum guy was able to get my blink to sync. It worked for about two hours. Get notifications on phone (I eventually turned off) and no videos. Now, I wonder if myQ (on wifi, but that’s for another day) is interfering with blink where it did not before. Well, I do not have a subscription (thankfully) and maybe they’ll work again one day. Not too reliable. So, worked for almost a year, no issues. Good luck everyone, I can’t waste anymore time on Blink.
