Great point and shoot camera for beginner/intermediate photographer – The best feature about this camera is the choice of display view or view finder. The auto focus is fast and the camera is very light weight and easy to carry. Takes great pictures. I have not used the video features.

Super zoom, amazing value…!!!… – Panasonic cameras are a great value… Leica glass on a Panasonic body… The compact FX series have been my traveling companions around the world for at least a decade… The limitation with the FX’s is their lack of extended zoom… The FZ-80 takes care of that, as well as all of the wider angle stuff the FX’s do, albeit with a much bigger handful of camera…

It has a fully automatic program mode that allowed her to begin shooting good looking photos immediately. She loves horses and has been using the camera to take photos and videos. Yet the camera has many advanced features like a serious telephoto zoom, full manual, aperture preferred, shutter preferred modes, and much more. Nice touch screen to allow easy access to menu options. At this price, it seems like a very good deal.
