Read the description carefully – I really wanted a PTZ camera and bought this on from a recommendation on the HookUp.

Worked for a few hours, then the lens became foggy from internal condensation. (Updated) – Note: Aug 17 2021 update at the end– PTZ-4818X-IZ arrived today. I played around with it in my home office for an hour this afternoon and left it running. Used the tool to assign an IP address, read a previous post here about what the default password is (123456). Was going to be a top-of-roof front yard cam. The internal processor has juuuust enough unf to do h.265 when the camera does not have a fast-changing image, as in a car driving through the frame. Then it doesn’t keep up as well as it should. It drops frames then. A lot of them. Also, the image sharpness isn’t as sharp as it could be for a “4k” camera. It’s not bad, but… it’s an inexpensive PTZ, after all. You get what you pay for, usually. I still haven’t figured out how to get it to do the digital zoom to the advertised 30x. It only goes out 18x optical for me. I tried some night vision testing and it may well be one of the good cams for that feature. Maybe the 30x digital zoom isn’t really there? I sure couldn’t find any reference to it in settings.

Get what you pay for – I purchased this camera as recommended by “The Hook Up”. As others have said this camera is completely worthless at night and sometimes even during the day. It is capable of a very crisp 4k video during the day time. If you don’t use the PTZ feature at all.
