It has various “scene” modes including one for the moon, so when I noticed the full moon last night I snapped a few shots and WOW. I am impressed! It looks like a telescope took these because they’re so clear nope it was my b500. I haven’t used it for casual portraits or videos much yet but I’m confident I’ll love this camera for years to come. If you’re a beginner just looking for the simple things out of a camera with room to grow into, consider this. Additionally the items that came with the bundle (tripod, memory card, rechargeable batteries) are more items if convenience than necessity but worth the price if you intend to use the camera often.
