Extremely easy to setup! – Really clear picture quality and night vision. Easy install with app and good motion detector. System is very simple to use but could use some minor upgrades. Great system for the price.

Nightowl Protect App or Camera recording does NOT work well – The camera’s live view is working fine; however, for motion or event recordings, it works intermittently. As it does NOT do continuously recordings, I only rely on event (motion) recording to see an incident; however, if the event recording works only intermittently, what is the use of this camera? I have worked with Night Owl support 3 times but not able to resolve the issue. I am going to return the camera to Amazon unfortunately.

SCAM. – WARNING. These are not night owl cameras. If you buy something worth $100 for 50 you have something worth zero. My first warning was it said it was available for next day shipping like most night owl cameras and then it switched to two weeks. I reached out to the seller and the camera showed up four days later. They don’t say night owl they have an N on them. They won’t connect to the night owl app either.

This item won’t work on all Night Owl NVR/DVR – I tried my best to make sure this item would work with my night Owl model. It will not “pair” with my wireless/wired NVR/DVR Night Owl security. You must use this item with a universal DVR/NVR system that’s wireless capable.
