Great piece of equipment for the cost – Works great for viewing what you are filming. I use it to more easily view soccer games I am filming. It is far superior ro viewing on my dslr’s built in screen or viewing through the view finder.

A very eh monitor! – I just purchased a brand new camera, (Digital Bolex) and I was worried about how expensive monitors we’re going to be. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised that there are a lot of options out there, many that can display 4K for under $200, and that’s awesome.

10/10 would buy again. – I don’t think you can beat this monitor for the price. The picture quality is excellent, there’s no cropping of the image. The anti glare hood is held in place by Velcro in case you want to remove it or attach one that’s more substantial. The cables are plenty long but not cumbersome. It also features a 12vdc connection if you want to purchase the cord separately. It is important to remember that you lose touchscreen capability while in use. The adjustable mounting arm also requires consideration if you don’t want the monitor dropping while filming. You want to make sure that it’s positioned in such a way that it tightens under gravity, but this is good practice in any case. I’ve had this for probably a year and it still functions as new.

Monitor – OK! Bundle – bad… – I am honestly regretting not taking pictures of how this product arrived to me. All of the components were haphazardly thrown into a very used looking Neewer box, with previous seals visibly cut. Most notably, the monitor was in the box without padding or packing material of any kind and without any kind of protection on the screen. Not even a removable film. On top of this, there were several seemingly random cold-shoe mounts just rolling around on top of the screen, which had cause minor scratching.

Great for DSLR stabilizer rig – I’ve been needing a field monitor for a while now but was put off by the cost. After reading reviews and having had good experiences with Neweer equipment, I gave it a shot – and really glad I did! This is a very nice monitor with some terrific extras. I’m running it on my Nikon D750 with a Zhiyun Crane 2 with an Eachshot dual-handle. The Eachshot has threaded ends, which connect perfectly to the included “magic arm” so I didn’t need to use the included clamp. I have not used the included hot shoe mount, but it seems quality and when working on a stationary tripod I most likely will. I started with the included HDMI cable which worked fine and is fairly heavy duty, but it was awkwardly long and was counterweighting the the gimbal so I picked up a short coiled HDMI cable for about 10 bucks which works much better. I will likely add a counterweight to the handle as well to offset the weight of the monitor.
