Slightly flawed but overall very useful! – The picture quality is as good as it gets. Even the nighttime IR footage is very crisp and I don’t think you can get better image quality for a home surveillance system..there are two flaws to note. First, it took a few tries to get the camera connected to my wifi. After a couple of tries I gave up, and subsequently it connected, so I was never able to fully connect the camera to my wifi the way it was intended out of the box. It just “accidentally” connected after a few tries. Second, it uses a long cable that is connected to the back of the camera and ends in a USB port. They went with USB A which means you’ll need to drill a pretty decent sized hole if you want to get it through a wall, which most applications will need. If they terminated it with USB C, it would be a substantially smaller hole that you could drill. Overall the camera has very nice features, and the app is intuitive and easy to use but also very customizable. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another camera or go into their ecosystem after trying this one out.

Good outdoor camera, good indoor power adapter, some quirks – I have several wired Nest outdoor cameras around our property. With Google changing how they work and moving away from the Nest app, I was looking for something to replace them with. This Lorex camera ALMOST fits the bill – it just has some annoying quirks.

Very quick to install – This is really cool little device.

Worth it! – We have this camera set up on our front porch and it alerts us anytime there is a vehicle, person or animal detected. You can set the areas of which you want to be in alert of, which is amazing because it lets you keep from being alerted with every vehicle passing etc. I definitely recommend this product.

so much better than Ring and Blink – did a lot of research into different cameras and systems. we have had the Ring and Blink, weren’t really happy with either. got tired of looking, so ordered 5 of these. we are 100% happy with them. better clarity due to the 4k, and very quick to activate. really like the app as well and the flexibility of it. setup is super simple and like that no main hub or anything else is needed. plan to add a couple more….
