Poor Customer Service – The camera is fine. Image quality is good, but motion detection needs to improve, especially detecting people. If they’re walking towards the camera, it tends not to identify them, so it has failed to detect people making deliveries on numerous occasions. However, the biggest failing is customer support. I notified them that the ball joint in the wall mount does not have enough friction to hold the camera at the desired angle, so I had to use the tension of the cable (by using a cable strap) to hold it where it needed to be. I included a picture. In response, they asked for “close up pictures of the Wall mount [which I included in my original email], screws and holes.” However, when I tried to remove the wall mount from the base in order to take pictures of the screws and holes, I couldn’t get the wall mount to turn, which is required to remove it from the base. I used as much pressure as I dared to for fear of breaking it, but it would not give. I replied to their email asking for instructions for removing the wall mount, thinking there must be some kind of locking mechanism that I was unable to find. I also included a video showing that the camera would not stay in position and would droop when I let go of it. It’s been five days since I sent the email, and I haven’t received a response. I also sent a separate email asking for assistance with their website because it won’t let me see a live view on my PC (you have to log in to get the option for a live view, but when you click on the link for the live view, it asks you to log in, but it won’t let you log in because is says you’re already logged in — catch 22). I never got a response to that email either. So unless you want to take your chances with a company with really poor customer service, you might want to look elsewhere.

Fairly Decent Cam. – These are fairly decent cameras, have had them for few weeks. Setup is simple, but tied to smartphone/App only. Motion sensing and ability to retrieve from the SD card works fine. Picture quality too is good.

The cameras are solid and true performers. We’ve two outdoor and two indoor cameras. Cold or hot weather does not hinder performance….. even after three days of rain, they work great.
