Practically useless for any indoor photography – How does a camera, when using flash, still produce a blurry image? I wasn’t shaking it around. I was standing in place. And it was daytime, near a window. I mean, it’s cheap, but wow, it’s just bad. Small enough, easy to use. Photos are VERY “meh.” Haven’t tested the water resistance, don’t really care to.

Pictures were not very clear – Pictures underwater in beautiful cozumel clear were not very clear. Some were ok but definitely sticking to my Nikon underwater camera. Sending this one back . And finding me another nikon one.

Worked underwater great! – While the display isn’t the best, this little camera takes nice photos underwater, and in salt water. No issues with leaking and it held its charge really well. You can see the quality of your photos after you download them to a device that has a better display. And regular photos look great too. I did have a difficult time focusing on some objects underwater but that could be user error and some practice is needed.

Excellent camera if you have reasonable exceptions – I’m and avid Photo hobbyist. I tend to lean towards Canon equipment, I have 3 Canon cameras, A DSLR, a high-end Point and shoot and a compact superzoom. And while I like to have a waterproof camera for the occasional snorkeling trip, it mainly gets used to take pics of the grandkids at thew beach or in the pool. So, I really can’t justify a high-end waterproof camera too. My Fuji recently died and the price on it doubled in the last few years. So, I tried this Kodak. My first digital camera was a Kodak, MANY years ago. And even though Kodak seems to have a pretty good selection of low to mid-level cameras, they really haven’t captured much of the digital market.

Buy the camera without the SD card package – Takes surprisingly good shots for this size and cost. But don’t expect much in low light — has trouble focusing. I bought the package with the case and SD card. Avoid this. The included SD card was a full sized one — this camera requires a micro SD card. Fortunately, I have full sized cameras and will be able to use the full size card, but I had to go back and separately order a micro SD.

Average – Good camera overall, but will not auto focus on close ups. As an inspector taking hundreds of pics, it performs adequately with average pic quality. Battery is long life so far… Also: A common complaint on line is the THM files transferred with each pic… I have a partial solution for this… Once the upload to computer is complete, simply perform a search in that folder for THM… it brings up all those pesky files and I delete them en masse. An extra step, but fairly quick.

Waterproof is it’s finest moment! – As an ex ‘photo-pro’ I wanted the exact opposite of a manual camera. As it turns out, my phone does better at point-and-shoot. In full auto mode, this camera tends to pick ridiculously slow shutter speeds, rendering blurred pictures.

Every thing is minimal. – No memory card. Add 17 bucks and a trip to Walmart. No instructions online only. So they can get your info.
