Great Product at a Great Price – Best PTZ I have seen so far. – IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!! My intention was to connect this PTZ directly to my Lorex Fusion NVR and with help from Wen at Jidetech I was able to do that. I’m not a “Techie” but I have some low level PC skills. I have tried to add other camera’s by “searching” for them in the Lorex NVR software but they seem to work for a while and then eventually show “disconnected”. For this camera, the short story is that you need to change the IP address to match the format of the Lorex NVR’s Gateway as well as the Primary and secondary DNS. My NVR shows 10.1.1.1 for the gateway so I used the free camera search tool provided by Jidetech to find and open the camera software. Once in the program I updated the Gateway, assigned it a unique IP Address that wasn’t being used by the Lorex NVR and updated the Primary and secondary DNS. This is all done from your PC while the camera is connected to a POE port on your network switch or router(or use the power supply if it’s not a POE switch) on your network and then “save” those changes. The camera will go through a “reboot” and then you disconnect it from your network and then plug the network cable in to an open POE port on your Lorex NVR. Simple as that! The camera has been stable for many months now and has not had any connectivity issues throughout that time. I am able to control the PTZ features of the camera directly through the Lorex software as well as the phone app as if it was a Lorex camera. Much less expensive than the comparable Lorex brand PTZ that they offer at $699.99! If/when I need another PTZ this is where I’m going…Great products at a great price!

Very nice PTZ Camera for the money! – This was a “take a chance” camera order I thought, but after receiving it and finally installing it I am very please with the picture and the other features that I have not yet got operational. So far, so good and I just ordered another one to place in a new place on my property. The only draw back was the written instructions. The manual is for several different models and very very confusing. If I had no knowledge of these cameras I probably would of sent it back, however, I have four other cameras and so after learning off of them I easily got this one going without figuring out the manual.

The camera has fish-eye like optics, that I realized it helps to cover substantially bigger area. Can be configure to record only when a motion is detected also the alarm function is great.

So far, so good and I just ordered another one to place in a new place on my property. The only draw back was the written instructions. The manual is for several different models and very very confusing. If I had no knowledge of these cameras I probably would of sent it back, however, I have four other cameras and so after learning off of them I easily got this one going without figuring out the manual.
