Best upgrade they have made so far – The latest update has a very good image and video. The birds eye view is good but pointless. It’s just a gimmick and pulls a screenshot from Google Earth of a sky view of the camera footage and is not needed.

Excellent Camera. Takes a few adjustments to get it balanced. – Use it for security on the east side of my home. Works well. Waiting to see how long the battery charge lasts before deciding whether or not to add a solar panel.

A good value – I chose the Ring Spotlight Cam because I already am using a Ring doorbell cam, and it has worked well. I am using the Spotlight Cam to view our backyard, so we have views of both front and back now. I chose the battery-operated model so it would be easier to mover it around and select the best location. Linking the Spotlight Cam to my Ring app was easy. Setting up a perimeter for it was easy, too. And it does a good job of detecting motion, from small animals to people.

Great quality, but motion a bit finicky – Easy to install, I also installed the solar panel. The picture quality is amazing compared to the previous generation. The lighting is better to and lights up the yard pretty good. My only complaint is sometimes it doesn’t detect motion unless it detects it for a certain amount of time. For the most time it captures, but the times it doesn’t worries me when I need it. I may need to adjust app settings. If anything changes I’ll adjust my review

Solar panel not charging to 100% – The product is very installed… I installed it on the gutter alone with the solar panel . It was very easy. The only problem I have with this setup is. The solar panel dont seem to be charging the spotlight to 100%. I have two batteries installed. See how long this will last.

Best camera of the Ring product line! – This was my first Ring Spotlight Cam Battery Pro. I have five other Spotlight cam battery cameras, and the new Cam Pro is a big step up. Solar panel – Ordered light with the solar panel. The pro light has a different type plug for the panel than the the the old light did. I thought it was a ‘rip off’ that you have to buy an adapter cable for the solar panel to connect. Didn’t know until after I went to hook the two together.
