Works amazing for the price – So I got this camera to monitor a stray with a severely fractured pelvis that I am fostering. It’s in a 30” kennel mounted in the top corner that’s covered by a sheet often. It’s always what we be considered “low light” so probably the least ideal conditions and I still love it. I have not one ounce of regret. Could it be better? Sure, but I have a feeling most of my cons are addressed in the higher tier items so I’m not complaining at all.

Works well, but you get a lot of Spam from the seller – It works surprisingly well for the price. The only thing i haven’t figured out yet is how to delete a large number of motion recordings. They delete one at a time, but not in a block. The other thing is I now get a twice or three times a week email reminding me to give a positive review for the product. My spam blocker won’t even stop them… very annoying.

Great camera – This is a great camera when working. Have four cameras in our winter home and the two older cameras work great with wifi and motion detection. Two newer cameras not so much. Found out that the wifi module was changed during production causing our newer cameras to go offline. Freya from online customer service was wonderful and responsive with trying to update the cameras remotely but ended up refunding our money. Found out they changed their wifi module between production of the two purchases. The night vision and picture quality is great. Hopefully they correct the issue as they served the purpose.

Need some setup for Synology, no PTZ control from Synology – It works with Synology Surveillance Station but needs some setup. First, you need to enable the ONVIF function from the mobile app in settings/local application/ONVIF. After that go to Synology and add the camera with your IP Address, fill the port in your app and select ONVIF as brand. You might need to restart your camera and quit your app before it can successfully connect to Synology.
