Solar panel not adequate for 24-hr detection – Right after I received this product, I wrote a short review on the seller’s web site, in which I had some niggling complaints about the documentation, and fulsome praise for the network setup. In my years of setting up dozens of these wi-fi-network-connected devices, this was by far the easiest to set up.

Update Review – I ordered this little camera/solar panel set up in October 2019, and I did another review but can’t find it to add to it, so I am doing this update here – I want to remind potential buyers that this unit is a very basic, cheap device, and depending on what you need or want to do with it, it may be exactly what you need or make you want to throw it across the room!

Very good for the price – Considering the price, this is a nice camera. It was easy to set up, the app is good, easy to use and most of the time works without issue….occasionally it will fail to read the card when accessing videos but I would still consider it more than acceptable. The picture quality is good in my opinion, not great for what is supposedly 1080p….not horrible by any means but I wish it was a little sharper.
