So Much Fun – This is becoming a favorite camera of mine. You HAVE TO USE the flash otherwise the photo will not come out. I’m glad I did a test photo first otherwise I would have felt bad about the first client that I had. I love the photo that I’m adding as a visual.

Just about the best you can get for a true instant film camera these days – This is a great camera if you are craving some nostalgia of using real instant film. If you are looking for a square format instant film your choices are pretty much the Instax Square or the Polaroid 600 film made by Impossible Project/Polaroid Originals/Polaroid. The main differences between the two are that the Instax Square film costs less than half per shot compared to Polaroid, is considerably smaller in overall image size, and has proven longevity. The Polaroid film is nice since it is the larger, original Polaroid size, but it is very costly at around $2 per exposure and there have also been reports of the film chemistry not holding up over time. I have Instax prints from over 5 years ago that still look the same as when they were first taken so I am confident that Fuji knows what they are doing (especially given their decades and decades of experience across all types of film).

Kinda Good – The camera lacked any picture clarity even with brighten mode, pictures were dark. Using the camera was easy, and return was easy. I don’t advise this model, it doesn’t give a value for what’s worth.

El color es hermoso! – La camara es un poco grande devido al tamaño del film pero vale la pena ya que la foto abarca mucho mas Con respecto a las mini! En mi opinión vale mas la pena ademas puedes usar trípode y tiene temporizador

Great instant camera with great features – Looking for a cheaper alternative to shooting with my Polaroid on 600 film, I started looking at Instax cameras. My initial purchase was an Instax Mini 40. After some additional research, I ended up returning that and getting this one instead for a few reasons. Firstly, this one is a lot sturdier and feels better built. At the time of purchase about 6 months ago, it was also only about $20 more than the Instax Mini 40. I also liked the square film format better than the regular Instax film. The extra features were what really sold me on the SQ6 however, more specifically the double exposure mode, timer, and different lighting modes. For what you get, I think this is a great instant camera. With the right expectations going into it, you won’t be disappointed. As long as you have adequate lighting, the pictures generally come out pretty nice and vibrant. Instax film doesn’t have quite as much of that “retro” film look as the Polaroid film does, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing. The SQ6 is a great camera for people out on the go who want to take instant film, and it has the added benefit of being much cheaper per shot than Polaroid film. It’s a good bridge between the cheaper Instax cameras and something more expensive and with better features like a Lomo.

A bit pricey but worth every penny – comes with batteries. you can also scan your photos with google photo scan app or polaroid official app

Great nostalgic look! – The box was a little torn up but the contents were fine. The camera has that plastic quality but it’s pretty solid and heavy just don’t drop it obviously. The timer was tricky to figure out- it flashes for 7 seconds then is solid for three seconds then flashes so you have to count down from the solid flash to time it.
