EZVIZ needs a strong wiFi signal or the camera will not connect. – Tried my ezviz 40 ft away from the router and the camera would churn and never connect. I added a Wi-Fi extender and still no luck. I swapped out my Wyze camera for the backyard and works great now with the extender. The ezviz is now in the front of the house 10 feet from the router and is still not anxious to connect. My son has 3 ezviz cameras and they work fairly well. I am using a so far free router/ modem combo from WOW cable services, this may be my issue. When they decide to start charging for the router I will go on my own with some better equipment.

Always goes offline – I have had many EZVIZ cameras over the years and just recently upgraded my backyard camera with this one. I loved everything about till the constant sluggishness when trying to view camera or move the camera which then it goes offline. It doesn’t track people but will track a bug flying by at night . We’ve reset it, checked the internet, even upgraded our internet to no avail.This is the only camera I’ve used that’s had this problem. Picture quality is good but useless if I can’t view it.

Very good low cost camera – Setup fine. Had a few settings issue in app but unplugged power and restarted and all fine. Put in 128gb SD card and working very nicely. Perfect for front door. Not sure how the follow person works but coverage is almost good enough I don’t need it. Went with this brand cause easy setup and easy app. Not crazy about their cloud costs. But camera works fine and took minutes to setup. Hardest part was drilling hole as I wanted hard wire internet as it was tremendously faster. Would definitely buy another if I needed it. I gave motion detect only 4 stars solely cause not sure on the follow me feature. But motion is catching every car

I was; however, waiting for this outdoor 360 view camera to add to my collection. I use them mainly for monitoring inside and outside my home. Once you become familiar with the EZVIZ app and how to add devices it’s a breeze to add new devices. This camera I will put to use in my backyard to view our wildlife visitors. You are not going to find a less expensive 360 camera that is durable and the live video is outstanding in quality. You can pan almost 360 horizontally and vertically and zoom with the C8C Lite which I purchased. It’s worth the extra $10. I do not use my EZVIZ cameras for security only monitoring. This camera allows you to hear things but doesn’t allow you talk through the camera like the other EZVIZ cameras I have. But that’s a function I can live with out for this particular camera. You do need to have an electricity source for this camera and it can connect with WiFi to your phone and also there is Windows 10 software to view life video on a computer monitor. It says you can cast your live video to your Google and Alexa Devices; however, you must turn off your camera encryption security so I choose the security and don’t cast to Google and Alexa devices. You have a choice to get the monthly subscription to save more video, but I choose not to and use the 256 micro card to save the past 24 hours. This is a weakness; however, in the product – they restart the 24 hours at midnight. So if you don’t review the footage in time it erases the evening prior. That just happened with the recent software update. They probably did it to force the purchase of a monthly cloud storage subscription. We live with the flaw and choose all the other positives of the EZVIZ brand.
