still deciding – So I switched my security system from Ring to Eufy. My reasons being is that I was tired of having to charge my cameras once sometimes even twice a week. With Eufy to my understanding I do not have to charge as often, ok Koo, so I bought a system. What I do not like is the reach of visibility. I live in a cul de sac and with the Ring camera I can see across the street. With Eufy I only can see at the beginning of my driveway. I was impressed with the quality but a bit dissatisfied with the reach of visibility. Fairly super new, just a day but possibly will update my review after I get the L40. I am conflicted so far.

Good camera, poor integration – The camera is solid, great quality hardware, easy to install and setup. I like the fact that everything is stored locally and my data isn’t sold to other folks or added without my consent to police databases. Picture quality is 2k for this model. Which is good, newer models are better.

Worked well for viewing my home haunt – I selected this camera based on reviews, the wide field of vision, the price, and the non-subscription viewing capability. The camera was easy to set up and pair with my iPad and iPhone via the app, however, I had to set up a 2.5 GHz wireless network before setting up the camera. I use a Verizon 5g router as my internet provider and it broadcasts in both 5 and 2.5 however the camera wouldn’t connect so I set up a Guest network just for the camera in 2.5. After that, it worked just fine.

No need to pay any monthly fees. By the way you can’t upgrade the memory inside this camera. It comes with a built in 8GB memory which is sufficient for my needs.
