Excellent quality and by far the easiest camera to set up – What a great experience. I unpacked the 2 cameras and set them both up in a matter of a few minutes with no problems at all. Connected right to my wireless. I had some extra 64 and 32 GB microSD cards left over from my cell phones and installed them into the cameras since they don’t come with any cards, You just roll the camera up toward the ceiling a little by hand to expose the card slot, put it in, format it and that’s all. The picture quality is excellent and you can zoom in without getting blurry. There are a lot of settings you can customize if you want. Very intuitive so you really don’t need a manual. I did watch a video that helped. I’m in the process of replacing another brand that makes you pay a monthly fee which I don’t want to do. Eufy offers the service but you don’t need to take it to use the cameras. Very pleased with this purchase and the camera quality.

Quality – Since I found out about eufy and try their security system, I immediately started adding their cameras and sensors around my house. Very easy to install, the app is easy and clean interface. The best thing is you don’t have to pay for cloud subscription, I wanted a security system where I can store my footage and not deal with monthly fees.

Amazing value, motion capture is a little hit or muss – Overall really like them. I’ve had their wired 1080p doorbell since March and much like that one, the features are rich but the motion detection is definitely… iffy. It works when it’s supposed to without fail, but will definitely sense and see certain things incorrectly. My favorite example is it saw my cat stretching in his cat tree as a human. Easy enough to adjust the motion zones, but expect some false alarms if you have notifs enabled. Another is if you look around manually while the camera is armed, you can trigger false alarms since the motion zones move with the camera instead of staying put in 3D space (which is asking a LOT, so I understand the limitation. A very minor gripe, just maybe don’t try to scan the room for your pets while motion zones are enabled).

Match with Eero Mesh for Large Areas – I decided to upgrade from an older Imou 2K system with 3 cameras. I have the Homebase 2, Cam 2 Pro (4), Solar Cam S40 (2), Floodlight Cam Pro (2), Indoor Cam P2 (2), and a 2K Doorbell. I have the Homebase wired to the Eero Pro 6 gateway. What the dispersed Pro Eeros including Beacons allows is COVERAGE. The ultimate reach from an Eero is nearly 90 yards to a Solar Cam that peers into our forested area providing real time game (deer) detection. Others look out into the pasture, shop, sidewalk to the house, and driveway. The Eero system makes it possible for the distances I’m using on the spread. Probably the most notable issue is it’s virtually impossible to talk to a Tech type at Eufy about fine tuning the alert sensitivities to exclude our dogs (system thinks they are human). If I decrease human sensitivity, I miss people unless they walk closer than I’d like before notification. To get everything to work with Eero, you have to turn off the 5GHz side while setting up, and you’re good to go. All in all, a good deal. Consider getting the added solar panels for the Cam 2 Pros. They keep everything charged up well. It’s a good idea to look for mounting locations somewhat under the eaves with the solar panels mounted lower to get sun but not snow on them. The Floodlight Cams get a localized glare, but putting some dark matting under the eaves solves much of that problem.
