The activity zone doesn’t seem to matter for the floodlight aspect – I’m new to the Eufy ecosystem and just got 2 solocams and the floodlight. The camera / night vision / light brightness are great, but I have a few issues with the other aspects of the Floodlight and Eufy in general

Great Setup – Can’t be happier with this Camera System. Used for a Europen Property and works great with 240V. Just needed a US mount from Lowes. Love that it records daily events without an account/subscription attached. I watch the happenings of the week from 4000 miles away. Also nice to see the weather there etc. I love the Camera quality. Easy to see and make our Car plates if they in the right angle. I highly recommend these cams and similar styles from Eufy. I purchased 2 more for Black Friday.

I tested this with multiple angles but was never able to capture/record a readable license plate. Details are not as high quality

Works great – It does think our garbage can is a person, but otherwise works really well and has very good picture/video quality especially once the LED light comes on. It was easy to install (we replaced an existing flood light with the floodlight camera). It is really easy to review the videos and to delete them. We are considering getting another camera from this manufacturer after seeing how well this one works. We also like that the videos are only stored locally.

This thing is awesome! – I am totally pleased with this purchase. Now I can view my porch and control the porch spotlight from my phone. Camera automatically records any motion in the activity zone I am able to define. Bought after someone stole my Amazon packages. Definitely gives peace of mind and does the job wonderfully

It’s our first system and I bought it because it can pair with Alexa and Google home devices. I like that you can pause notifications when you know a gardener or someone is working near the camera. The picture quality is as expected and audio is good. I like that we don’t have to pay a monthly fee too. We’ve had it up for 3 full days. So far, so good!
