Dosilkc Security Camera Indoor Wireless, 1080P Dual Band 5GHz – Huge dissapointment…… Won’t take 5G wifi . Spent hours tryna get it to connect AND I cannot download the app on my Fire 7 tablet which is what I use as a monitor.

For the price………. – I have used a lot of security cameras in the past and for the money this is a decent camera. The good; the picture quality and night vision work well. The 1080p resolution is nice and crisp and look sharp on my phone. The night vision works well to about 50 feet and that is acceptable for a camera at this price and size. The motion sensing is not the best but it is on par with cameras that cost 3 times this amount so I can accept what it does for the price. Pairing was easy as it should be with any electronic device these days but that is not always the case so this is a plus especially for non technical people which is probably the majority of people that buy something like this. Overall I am happy with this camera and would recommend it for anyone on a budget that wants a simple, easy to use and hook up security or pet cam.

Inconsistent motion detection and network connection – I have had this installed and hooked up for a couple of months and I should have returned it while I could. The two major issues I have with it are 1) The motion sensor/detection is very inconsistent. There are times that an elephant could be standing in my apartment and the motion sensor will not detect it, and there are times when a fly will trigger an alert. And 2) often when trying to view the camera live/remotely it will constantly stop and say the network is unstable. The network is not the issue, the router and modem are not the issue as every other device works just fine over wifi. The camera is the problem, I will replace it after the holidays with a ring camera. You get what you pay for, this was a $30 fix to offer a little piece of mind when I am not at my apartment, however all I often get are frustration and disappointment in return.

motion detector camera – Sends out way too many alerts. Even with sensitivity set to low, it goes off when the air comes on or sunlight causes shadows on the curtains, Not worth it.

good as a stand alone camera – I have been using this as a hidden inside camera for security for a few weeks now. The camera does what you tell it, I like how you can move it all directions through the app. The motion sensor can be a little touchy as well, so I just turned that off, it seems when the camera senses motion it kind of Jenks itself following an object rather than slowly and smoothly following it. Big negative is trying to find the app, the QR code tried to take me to some Chinese website not even the app store, so just do yourself a huge favor and search yourself on the Google play or Apple store just typing in the name, it will pop up. It does have a micro SD it comes with 32 gigs which is great I just use the local storage and you can set it to auto record when it senses motion and the app will notify you. One more bad thing is the cable it comes with is really short so depending where you are placing it you will have to order a way longer cable, and it uses the older micro USB. It does not have an internal battery it has to be connected to a power source to function, that being said I was able to run it for 6 hours on a powerbank as a test, because with the IR it has its perfect for taking out camping and setting up at base camp if you have a good powerbank, granted if your phone has or if you have a individual mobile hotspot you can connect it and have a little live security in the wilderness without having to poke your head out of the tent. All in all I think this is a good camera, not one a would set a whole security system up with but definitely a good one with versatility at a good enough price it won’t break the bank. Also as a final note the app isn’t glitch its pretty smooth, just depends on your internet connection.

Great to Watch Pets! – This is a really nice camera, especially considering how inexpensive it is! The head moves, and you can use it to watch a dog or cat while you are away with the app you download to your phone. It worked perfectly with an iPhone and the video is high quality and not super fuzzy. You can use the camera to 2-way speak, so you can talk to your animals through the app. It works best if you just use it as a real-time camera. Recommended!

Very Nice Camera – I have several cameras situated throughout my condo. I needed to replace the one that monitors the front door. This new camera was just like the ones I already have, and the setup was the same. It was delivered on time, and was as advertised. Basically, I downloaded the app, and synced it with the camera. Then, from my phone, I repositioned the camera, to my desired area. The picture quality is good. I inserted an SD card, to capture activity. In addition, the camera has motion detection, and sends an alert, to my phone. I have been using these cameras for years, and would, highly, recommend them. I have always found it comforting, to be able to check out what is going on, at home, when I am not there – even when out of the country.
