This camera is rather cheaply made… – Good starter camera but not what it was cracked up to be… would not buy this item again.

It’s a gift- will update – Out of the box it initially looks great, a nice color and a good size- like the typical “old-school” (I guess it is now) digital cameras! Once my niece opens it and uses it I’ll update, but everything I can tell about it so far is awesome!

Excellent camera with exceptional picture quality for kids – I was shocked when I opened this camera and say the quality of the camera itself. The camera is so nice, not what you think of when you think of a kids camera. The camera casing is such high quality and durable with a beautiful vibrant purple color , the picture viewing screen is large and crystal clear, the buttons are very easy to press and the picture quality is awesome.

Cute, quality, compact and easy to use – This camera has been perfect for your 11yr old daughter who has been pining for her own digital camera for some time now. It takes much better picture than other “toy” cameras we’ve bought in the past, and functions like any normal “real” camera. Fully functional, however one thing t note is that it does not have a true flash. The light is what’s called a “fill light” and can be turned on and off with the press of a button. It just can’t be set to flash upon taking a picture.

Beautiful color, unclear buttons – To be totally honest, the beautiful lavender color of this camera is what initially attracted me to it… and it’s JUST as beautiful in person. The camera itself works very well! The pictures are clear and the display screen is easy to see. The buttons on the camera (besides the capture button) aren’t very clear as to what they do. Since I think this camera would be great for our 7 year old niece, she should be just fine to manage the buttons, but even as an adult I had to look through the included booklet to confirm their purpose. I was very impressed that it came with the mini SD card, SD card converter, batteries and a charger, and one of those loop handles. The camera feels very high quality and reminds me of the $300 camera I had in the early 2000s that I carried everywhere. Perfect gift for a 7-12 year old!

Decent Starter Camera for Kids Developing a Photography Interest – This seems to be a decent little starter camera for younger children. Mine have been playing this for a few weeks now and they appear to have it pretty well figured out. I got it before going on vacation for a week and they managed to take some very nice scenic photos using it. It is a fun pastel pink and an adorably small size making it very portable and easy for smaller hands to use. So far they have been very careful with it. I think this camera might survive being bumped and banged around but not so sure it would do well being directly dropped on a hard surface.
