Grreat support and service by the seller – I ordered this camera for an elderly family member who wants to start taking pictures again for fun, and whose “good” camera is a little too complicated at this stage of life. The camera arrived promptly. I attempted to get it set up by installing the memory card. I misunderstood the instruction booklet and installed it the wrong way. It was stuck for good and impossible to retrieve and correct. So the seller offered to send me a new replacement camera. That camera also arrived very quickly. I carefully followed the instructions for installing the memory card and it worked well. Then I could not figure out how to open the flap to the usb port, in order to charge it up. The seller sent me a cool video quickly demonstrating how to open it. They also said to contact them anytime I have questions. So today I took a few practice shots with it outdoors. Then read the instruction manual on how to find and view the photos. The photos were very lovely and of good quality. I was surprised at the quality for such an inexpensive camera. I love that this camera is very small and lightweight and will be easy for and elderly person to carry around and take photos with. The only issue I have is that the instructions are not always so clear, but with trial and error it is all working out. I will now be able to show the family member how to snap a photo and how to then view the photo. The camera has a lot of features, such as recording and video, in addition to still pictures. The view photo/ playback also has a slideshow feature. If you want an inexpensive easy camera, I recommend this. Just be patient with learning how to use it. Like anything else, there is bit of a learning curve. Once you get the hang of just taking and viewing a photo, there are many other settings and options that can be learned and mastered for more advanced photography. And it is very helpful knowing that the sellers are very available to answer questions through email and to send pictures and videos of how to do things if you get stuck trying to figure anything out.

OK for the price – I ordered this camera for my 87 year-old mother who loves to take pictures. It’s not fancy but seems straight forward to operate. It is very light weight, to the point that it feels more like a toy than a camera. I wish it had a metal exterior rather than plastic. The “zoom” is more like a magnifier but for an 87 year-old it’s fine. I was however, disappointed that it doesn’t come with an SD card. The picture on the box and description of the item suggests that one is included but there isn’t one and no built in internal memory. If you order this camera make sure and order an SD care too. For the price it’s not terrible and the pictures seem to be OK.

Mine came with bad Usb cable – Nice camera but the mini usb cable defective on the standard usb connector side has some kind of internal defect that will not let the plug seat in the charger

Pretty good starting camera – I got this for my 5 year old nephew and he absolutely loves it. Generally speaking, its a really good camera for the price. It appears to take decent pictures and the buttons/menus are pretty easy to navigate (for an adult). The only “downside” is that the flash is always turned off (you can turn it on with a push of a button) and there is no viewing hole. Still, its certainly worth the money so far and I am very happy!

Great Customer Service! – I love my Vmetal camera. I carry it in my pocket every day at work taking pictures of our progress. Within a couple of weeks of use, my backscreen malfunctioned (turned partially black). I contacted the company and they sent out a replacement within a couple of days! Truly a great service for me and their products. I recommend this camera to everyone!
