– I already had the Cloudedge app installed for my iegeek cameras and adding these cameras alongside my existing ones was very easy.. Out the box, power up, press reset button, + device on the app/phone, point the camera at the displayed qr code on the phone,then next for scan.. Cameras now working alongside my iegeek cameras.Once added you have the option to rename camera set location etc via the app. . Don’t forget to install a micro sd.. Job done.. 🙂

Major pros and cons – I moved from the country, where my nearest neighbors were deer and raccoons, to the inner city where I’m surrounded by prostitutes and shootings, so to feel a little safer, one of the things I did was buy a couple of these security cameras. I was attracted to this particular camera for a couple reasons;

– I love the camera but I just can’t work out how to share with another phone. The manual doesn’t cover this and I am unable to find information on the internet. Apart from that I am pleased with the quality of the camera. It can work well away from the router and gives smooth, clear images. I just wish I could share it.

Good for the Price – The overall performance of this product is very good. It was easy to install, and the solar panel has provided power and charges to 100% in a short period of time. The seller did send us an SD card at no charge and has been in contact regarding the overall general use, they also said if there were any questions or problems just to contact them. The instructions after the installation don’t go into great details about how everything functions. However there are many You Tube Video about the camera. Like I said the seller is proactive and has been very good to work with, the only thing I found that was slightly misleading was the video that is provided in the ad with this camera shows that it does have a panning feature which this camera DOES NOT. Even when you install the program the guy that doesn’t have WiFi but uses a hot spot for demo purposes shows the camera pans. I did learn that there is a different model that does pan, it is just not this one. The design of where the SC card is inserted, and the solar panel cord is under the unit but they are NOT protected from the elements, so we shall see if this becomes a problem in wet or winter conditions. When you go into the history mode we have had to get out and go back in before it will recognize the card, we did get and error message, so went into history and waited about 20 seconds before we looked for anything records and it worked fine. But Overall it has been functioning pretty good.
