Needs a free service option – Great quality camera. Very good image quality. Disappointed to see that they do not offer any limited free transmission options like their main competitors. Data pricing is reasonable, but limited providers.

Well Made, Durable, Good Battery Life, Good Image Quality, Great Price for an LTE Trail Camera – This LTE security camera works as described! First off, the camera itself feels nicely made and doesn’t feel cheap. It includes everything you need in the box minus an sdcard – keep in mind a full size sdcard is needed. It is very easy to setup and start using with their app and QR code. The QR code is found in the settings on the camera through the LCD screen built in. This does require 8 AA batteries to function.

Major improvements with the Black Select – This release is better than what came before it and cheaper at that. The code black select has 30 megapixel quality, which is more than my old DSLR at this point. The infrared on it is impressive. So is the trigger speed. The images come out clearer than expected.

A Lot Better Picture Quality Then My Code Black 2020 – I purchased this cellular Trail cam to supplement my Code Black 2020 That I’ve had in the Illinois woods for the last 2 years and let me tell you the picture quality is so much better than my old Code Black. So far it has been performing great with a Covert solar cell and external battery box. My only complaint is when I request a HQ photo I’ve had several upload with errors at the bottom of the photo like the one included which I believe is because of the App. The old Code Black megapixel was rated 20mp but that camera was actually interpolated from 8mp which means it wasn’t really 20mp but this new Code Black Select is actually 30mp and you can tell when you request a HQ photo it takes a lot longer for it to upload to the App. Overall i am satisfied with it enough so that i purchased another on a couple of weeks ago.

Not all specifications listed are correct – I am a definite Covert camera fan. I have a Code Black 21 LTE in the woods and it performs flawlessly. I want to buy the Code Black Select, but I just talked to Covert and the detection range for the Select is 60ft… not 80ft as listed on Amazon. I wish there were other on-hands reviews of this camera, but I’ve done a lot of looking and it’s just too new for practical reviews. I will probably wait and just find another 21 LTE until I can see some actual photos/videos and see some personal hands on experiences before buying the Select. If the detection range had been 80ft, I would have gone ahead and bought the camera. Hope this information helps.

Works amazing – This camera is SOLID and will be the focus of building my dream hunting land in 2023! The connection is fast and stable, the photos are top quality (as is the video), and it is so easy to use. There was a moment early on that I felt like the software was buggy but I was using it wrong.
