Great product – This replaced a stolen one. It was replaced because it does the job.

Yes, If You Shoot Photos Outdoors & Walk A Lot – Pretty much just what you see in the videos. I’m pleased with it and have used it a lot because carrying around a camera with a big lens can take a toll on your arms, wrist and back. The bigger the camera, the more effort to remove and shoot but the idea is pretty clever. With smaller cameras, as in the videos, it works as advertised. Any lens bigger than a 400 mm on your camera probably isn’t going to work quite as well, as it’s just too long and hangs too low. The speed of the draw, with a big lens, is slowed down over that with much smaller lenses.

A fantastic way to carry 2 cameras, with a few caveats – Okay, I spent around 5 weeks with this setup, and I think it’s an amazing way to keep 2 cameras close to you. The reason for the 4 stars is pretty simple; I was using a 150-600 Sigma on the chest pad, and I would have loved to have been able to quick attach to a monopod. The way the quick mount points work for the carrier meant that there was no practical way to attach a supplementary quick release for any other type of system. Since there are no quick mount bases in this particular form, that meant that you were always having to screw down to a monopod if you wanted help with the heavies. I had big gun on my chest, but I had a Lumix bridge camera on the hip point for everything else, and it was great to know that I had the 2 of them there. However, I did end up mounting the Sigma to the 2 security straps and using them support the hanging weight, instead of the mount. No real regrets on the purchase, and if you are using things that are not so heavy they long for a monopod to support them, it’s about as perfect as you might want. For longer trips, you might go with the single chest hookup, and then attach a small bag on the side, for batteries and other sundries. But For me, to be a five star product, it would have had to have some kind of widely accepted mounting bracket that would allow it to go between Cotton and support seamlessly. If this had been designed to accept an Arca Swiss style plate, it would have been 5 stars all day long.

Works well. – The product replaces carrying a backpack of photo gear. Adjusts easily for different body types. Very nice, built well, and quickly releases your camera for those instant photo moments. The only downside is large telephoto lenses are still heavy! The weight is in front instead on your back.

A well designed product – I love it. It is a great, heavy duty camera carrier for birding while hiking. It is great for reducing the fatigue of toting a heavy camera/ lens combination. My OM-1 and 300 mm f4 lens fits snugly with little to no camera movement. And the included rain cover is a bonus and fits perfectly. Not sure about that for larger, full frame, long lens combos. As I use a lens mounted tripod mount it is easy to switch from handheld use to tripod or monopod use. But to use with a smaller lens for tripod use, then that is problematic. An adapter or removal of the “flat hub” is necessary.

Lightweight and Great for Supporting Your Camera – I love this addition to my camera gear. The vest is fully adjustable and easy to wear once it is adjusted to your height, weight, and style. The slider button and long thread screw to the bottom of the camera with a cushion ring that helps tighten the thread securely. The additional strap to keep the camera from swinging as you walk is probably the best feature of the vest. I can carry my 100-400 camera and lens and walk without movement of the lens.
