Great for backyard birding – My husband bought this for me for Christmas. We enjoy watching the birds in our backyard all year, and these are great for that. Plus, with the SD card, I can download photos and videos to the computer to edit/enjoy. I wish there was a better explanation for all of the settings in the instructions, however. Picture quality – well the first few I took are a little blurry, but that could be my less-than-steady hand. Will keep trying though!

Not easy to use and view in binoculars is not what you may get from camera – Tried but returned. I’m disappointed. Locally we had a beautiful white snow owl in the area. I took pics with my Canon camera and that was OK. I have 2 sets of binoculars and they are easy to use. Thought using the binoculars with a camera would be great, not so.

Very flimsy electronics – Didn’t last long before it failed. – I bought this Digital Camera with Binoculars because I travel a LOT with my occupation, all over the world & often take vacations in places either side of working to make the best of things for the travel. They are quite light weight & the binoculars are pretty good. Part of the reason for purchasing them was to kill two birds wit one stone, so to speak. It meant I wouldn’t have to take my Digital SLR Camera with various telephoto lenses for the distance. I can use my smartphone for regular photographs & the binoculars for more long distance ones & still have a reasonable set of binoculars with me at the same time. I was quite impressed with the quality of the long distance photos until something went terribly wrong after removing the micro-SD card about 4 times to save the photographs to my laptop. The internal small spring mechanism that holds the micro-SD card in the receiving port failed totally & hence the micro-SD will not stay in the electronics side of the binoculars anymore. Cannot take photos & video without the micro-SD storage. I have now done a bit of a bodge job to fix it. I am a qualified electronics engineer. I opened up the camera (I’m in the UK working now) & took at look at the internal electronics. They are pretty flimsy in build. Not robust at all. I used a touch of superglue to keep the micro-SD card in the receiving port, let it cure & then built things back up again. It works now, but I can obviously now only download photos to my laptop computer using the USB port & can never remove the micro-SD card again. This product failed after literally “4” times of being used. If you buy a set I do not recommend removing the micro-SD card once it is secure in the receiving port. A reasonably expensive piece of equipment like this, even for quite basic should not really fail after such little use. VERY disappointed that way & I think the supplier should really send me another pair after checking they are in good working order to my address in Southern California for when I get back home. I hope that helps you all out.

Great for people with wide set eyes – This is a great set of binoculars! And the camera is really great. My only complaint is that I cannot get the binocular to adjust down to my width of eyes. I am 5’9” and have normal set eyes and the binoculars will not shrink down to the small enough with so that I can see out of both eyepieces at once so I have to literally shut and I to look through this binoculars. That sucks sucks
