Smart to have – Just the cutest little device. If your alone a lot or even if your friends can’t take a perfect picture, then you need this. Prop your phone up and click away. Easily attaches to blue tooth, turn it on and just selfie yourself away.

Awesome Gadget – This little gadget is awesome I’ve used it so many times I don’t like asking people to take our picture. Don’t know about the battery life I’ve only had it for 2 weeks. I took a group picture I put my phone on the stairs about 4 ft away and it worked. Awesome for the price too. Will buy some for the grandkids.

This good and it only cost how much?! – every once in a while, you buy something that makes you giggle. Considering how expensive even crap has become, this little thing works well beyound its cost ($7.99 US). Easy as pie to connect and so simple to use that even an old Hoosier can figure it out. I am now able to record marketing videos and video messages without either leaving in the portion of me starting and stopping the video, or having to edit. The only question is, how long willl it last? Right now, this is a must buy for all the reasons above. Great job CamKix!

Impressive for the price! – I purchased this remote trigger based upon other’s reviews. I was looking for a reliable remote trigger for my iPhone 8 plus that I will be using to start vlogging. The construction of the unit (all plastic) is solid, well made, and pleasing aesthetically. I chose the neon green because it would be easier to find in my dark gig bag. it is small, light, but most important – it works! Turning on the Bluetooth of my iPhone and clicking the ‘on’ switch of the CamKix resulted in a less than 2 second connection. The blue indicator light lets you know that the Bluetooth connection has been made. I live in a small apartment but was able to trigger my phone’s camera and video from the furthest distance I could achieve – approximately 30 feet – and while in another room! I have the impression that I could have achieved a greater distance if I needed to. All of my previous remotes were infrared so I had to be in ‘line of site’. I don’t think that this unit is built to last ‘forever’ (and I will be ordering a second one as a backup) but it has functioned flawlessly for me as of this writing. I did not receive an instruction sheet on the minimal functions that this unit has but because of my experience was able to figure out how to open the battery chamber to replace the battery (If need be – I have no idea what the battery life is supposed to be but it uses a standard 2032 which is easy to find in almost every place that sells batteries. BTW, I used a pen knife blade to leverage open the battery cover and then slid the cover forward to reveal the battery. The smooth plastic and well-fitting cover did not slide off of the body of the remote easily.). The included wrist strap is well made and easy to adjust. I use it to hang he unit from my tripod for easy access. The only real concern that I have is the plastic ‘on off’ switch, wondering if it will hold up over time but at this price point it is very functional. It is not ‘flimsy’ as other plastics switches usually are so I would expect it to last quite a while. I will not be abusing it to find out what it’s tolerance is! Over all, I am very pleased with this remote!

Does what it needs to do. – It was very easy to set up. I just turned on the bluetooth on my phone and it found this little clicker. And when I click, it takes a photo, so great. There really isn’t much more to comment on. It does exactly what it says it’s supposed to do. FYI, I use it in combination with my Huawei P30 Pro phone and they work well together.

Great value! – Affordable and effective. Worked out of the box with no effort. The lanyard makes it easy to carry on the wrist or attach to a tripod. The neon green color makes it easy to find it when you’ve left it laying around.
