What I Expected – Note: If you have heavy traffic of people and cars, hard wired or wireless w/solar panel are best. (Blink has the solar panel adapter too if this interests you)

High Latency, Software Issues, Etc. – I really did not like the Blink system for a few reasons. Most were seen with the outdoor cameras, but there are issues with the software and its lack of features.

Great security device that is very affordable – Blink cameras are exactly what I need. I have been a customer of Blink for some time, I was grandfathered in without the monthly plan cost. Even with the monthly plan these are still great devices for the average home compared to similar services. They greatly increase the security, safety, and comfort level of my home. When we are away, the cameras keep watch. Indoor cameras can easily see if someone is where they do not belong. Plus they can watch for animals, pests, or visible service issues with boilers and water heaters. Handy devices that can easily be managed from a mobile phone. Setup is easy. Really a handy device that I now can not live without.

Great – These were super easy to set up and get going. The app is easy, the alerts are easy, it’s all easy. I bought command strips to hang them but they aren’t working out so I ordered the siding clips, we’ll see what happens. One of the cameras was getting some motion from the street and it was easy to pull up the picture and cut out a tiny square of it that wouldn’t activate the sensor. Easy peasy. The videos at night and during the day are really good and the speaker is really good as well. I also liked that the free trial doesn’t automatically charge you if you don’t go in and cancel it. Super happy with these so far.
