GreatCamera but… – I like that the camera is everything it promises. The picture quality, motion detecting are fantastic. Also if you have a Samsung s20 fe phone. This camera works well with this phone. However, the camera isn’t compatible with a one plus phone. And we had to return it. So make sure your phone is compatible with a Google phone before you buy. Anyways this product is worth it. So buy it.

Works great – This is the 3rd Arlo camera we bought and they all work great. I had to manually open the privacy cover with my finger when I activated the camera. But I use it as a security camera 24/7 while I’m out of the office so I don’t need it to activate and deactivate regularly, otherwise it might have caused problems.

Works – Its a little rough for night vision but things including pets are visible. The privacy cover is audible which is what I’d prefer. I do wish you could enable a toggle so the camera would make a more audible alert when activated.

great for keeping an eye on elderly parents – I wanted something that I could use to check on my mom who insists on living alone, but I worry about her. She agreed to this camera. it gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing I can check on her if I can’t reach her by phone. For now, it’s a safety measure while she is still independent but a little more vulnerable to falling, etc.

Arlo Essential – Arlo Essential camera We’re easy to setup and I like that they do not require a hub like my other cameras. These only require a Wi-Fi signal so it’s much easier to cover an extended area.

Product is great but wish it had a setting to set the alarm for only human detection – The product is great but the motion detection alarm is useless. It is useless because anyone that has a pet or if there is a bug that goes across the camera will trigger the alarm. There needs to be a way to set it up to only be triggered when a human is detected. Motion detection catches most situations but not all of them. The picture quality is great and the night vision works pretty well. the camera is easy to set up and there were no problems with setting it up beside it taking a while to connect to the wifi. These cameras are overall pretty good but there are a few small features in the product that could be better.

Solid wired indoor security camera – I set up two of these in my home to monitor the common living area. Thanks to the wide view angle two cameras was more than enough to cover every window in the area simultaneously. The cameras are also located out of reach near the ceilings, so the integrated, automated lens cover (which makes it very obvious whether the camera is capturing video or not) is a much-appreciated privacy feature. Combined with very easy setup and a nice monitoring software, I would easily recommend these as an easy, cost effective indoor monitoring option.
