Great turret camera – This is my 2nd night color camera however the first turret type form factor. I am familiar that the night color has a spotlight which is very bright, works well for security. this camera was shipped quickly after order, the form factor and size is great. They included all accessories you would need for an outdoor mount. The camera quality has been great, I love these types of cameras due to their flexibility and line of view. I was able to pair this easily with my existing NVR and have had no problems for the week I’ve been using it. pretty straight forward install and Amcrest cameras have been reliable for me. I recommend this camera at a good price point

Nice Camera – This camera integrate well into zoneminder and shinobi. It has onvif auto detection. Can be setup with out installing the app if you browse to the build in webpage and use the default admin:admin un & pw.

An amazing POE camera that just works out of the box – I’m venturing into the world of POE cameras, since wireless cameras can have connectivity issues. This camera doesnt come with a POE injector, so I ordered one. Installation was quick and easy, utilizing the Amcrest app on my phone. Two ethernet cables are required, one that provides data the other provides electricity or power. The mount for the camera is secure, as the body is made out of metal. Color night vision is great, as the white LED is very bright. If you dont want color night vision, you can opt for traditional IR (grey) video. This camera supports cloud connectivity, so you dont have to use port forwarding on your router, if you dont want. That feature can also be turned off, for a more local account. You can access the camera via a local IP address, which means programs like BlueIris work just fine. The only gripe I have is that the instructions really didnt go over how to adjust the camera, using the set screw. They do give you a screw driver for the screw, but no instructions on mounting it. As usual, this Amcrest camera is a quality made camera that should last a long time. I trust Amcrest for my CCTV needs.

Another quality Amcrest camera added to my home system – I bought into the Amcrest camera and nvr system approximately five years ago. I am extremely pleased with their equipment for security around my home. I am slowly replacing older camera models with the new 4k line. Each camera is easily added to the system through their app or NVR. Overall, the quality is solid and I trust this will last for many years to come. I have purchased an additional NVR and camera for my parents house. Install and setup was easy for my father who is retired. Review will be updated if I run into any problems.

Color Night Vision Is a Nice Feature – This camera is awesome! I wasn’t sure about ordering this camera because I’m not usually all that impressed with what many companies use the term “AI”; IMHO it’s more marketing than useful technology. Still, I needed a replacement for an older camera (non-Amcrest) that was failing, so I ordered this one because it seemed to be a good deal and I admit, I wanted to try out the new color night vision; I must say, I’m quite impressed. For starters, this camera was packed exceptionally well, much more like a quality, high-end product than some of the cheaper cameras that I’ve tried in the past that barely have any packaging or extra materials included whatsoever. Also, the setup was easy and intuitive. I’ve had some low-end cameras that were extremely difficult to get set up. This was straightforward and easy and well, it just works! It also was a breeze to set up with my third-party surveillance system. Finally, the built-in features of the camera were quite impressive; I don’t consider color night vision a necessity but is nice. Bottom line, the features of this camera are very nice and it works quite well. I would not order this camera to replace a recent camera that’s working fine, but if you’re in the market for a new camera anyway, I would get the extra features because they are definitely a “nice-to-have”!

Great new Night Color and AI features added to an already great camera line. – I had a system of cameras connected to a NVR, based on cameras from a well known vendor. As the years have gone by, the HD resolution they offered just wasn’t comparable to newer offerings, but with over 20 cameras to replace, spending over $200 per cameras wasn’t an option. Enter Amcrest, and their affordable line of IP cameras, many of which are running the same internal as more expensive brands. I have found their cameras to be just as reliable, providing a quality image at a fraction of the price. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable, yet quality surveillance camera. I have recently purchased a few AI cameras from them, and the additional of the Night Color feature to the 4K resolution takes them over the top. For the money, you just can’t get the same level of features and quality from any other vendor.
