Great Picture at a Great Price – The initial setup is easy. The camera was easily found on the network and login to. Upon logging into the camera, I was prompted to change from the default password which seems to be more of a standard with most camera manufacturers.

Changing all my cameras to this model – I have 8 – 4k cameras around my house recording 24/7 to a Synology NAS. One of my original Lorex cameras failed and I found this Amcrest to replace it. After seeing the image quality improvement as well as the other features, I have decided to change out all of my cameras to this model of Amcrest.

Nice Video. Good Detection – I’ve had this camera setup for a couple of months now. I’ve found the video streaming for this camera very good. I really like the wide angle lens. I was hoping the camera would work with my Echo Show, but it doesn’t (nothing states anywhere that it does either), since some of the Amcrest cameras do work with the Show. I am using it by itself on my home network. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because you cannot view the video that is captured on the SD card remotely using the app. You must subscribe to the the Amcrest cloud storage service, or login to your home network then login to the camera to view the SD card video, which to me is a bit clunky.
