Good hidden camera pen – This upgraded version of the pen hides the lens well. The light is not on when the camera is recording and locates on the other side anyway, so nobody can see it.

Good but not great – I bought this pen december 7th 2022, after a few days i noticed, the notification lights weren’t coming and the pen would not record, notified amazon and it was returned and a new one over nighted. It has decent picture quality, but recording speech from farther than 5-10 feet is spotty. The biggest problem i see with thi pen is, it does not record from the ground up, if the person is closer than 10 feet away. Im a armed security officer and had a physical altercation with someone, got them handcuffed and seated on his butt and the guy was knowhere in the video while he was seated and he was 6’1 250lbs. The pen was in my uniform breast pocket and it only shows the floor ten feet away or more. I would suggest a pan-view camera that can show from the ground 2 feet away and at least 8 feet tall. Also camera deactivates if laid on its side, as well as rolls to a stop with camers facing whatever flat surface you lay it on, in other words the pen has to be stood straight up and down

The video quality is great in well lit areas. I have used the camera snap quick photos and the voice recording is awesome. The camera is hidden so well that no one knows when I’m wearing it. They just think it’s a regular pen.
